The Magnifying Lens (or focusing lens) is an Inventory Item that can be used in the game.
Description[]
The Magnifying Lens is glass lens that is held in a circular metal frame. Connected to the metal frame is a small metal shaft that can be placed in a holding socket on the slide projector.

Glasshouse[]
The Magnifying Lens can be found in one of the flytrap pitchers of the large Flytrap Plant.
Acquisition[]
To get the Magnifying Lens, Josef will first have to pick up the Prop Stick. He will then have to revitalise the Flytrap Plant by using the sunlamp. To power the sunlamp; the Glasshouse Control Box Puzzle mini-game will have to be solved. If Josef tries to put his hand in the flytrap pitcher the mouth of the flytrap will try to bite his hand. Josef can use the Prop Stick to wedge open the mouth of the flytrap pitcher. He can then put his hand inside the flytrap and pull out the Magnifying Lens.
Function[]
The Magnifying Lens can be used to repair the slide projector. The Magnifying Lens can be fixed into the holding socket of the bracket on the slide projector. To power the slide projector; the Glasshouse Control Box Puzzle mini-game will have to be solved. Josef will then be able to view the slides on the projector screen that is hanging above the wooden desk. (See: Slideshow Cassette 1 and Slideshow Cassette 2)
